Issue:
"While creating calendar event in teams it never detects outside address even after being available in contact list. It always require full email address to enter manually"
*In the case of the active users, the users are detected in the teams calendar after providing only the first two or three letters of the email address.
* In the picture below "bobk@tailspintoys.com" is available in the contact list
*But in the case of email address added in the contact list, when you type "bobk" it did not find the email address
*The email address is detected only when the full address is provided.
Solution
Instead of creating the teams meeting from the teams calendar,try creating the teams meeting from the outlook calendar.
